Vaccine target by year's end: Fiame

Samoa is not expecting to hit its vaccination target for the COVID-19 virus until the end of the year, the Prime Minister says, setting back chances of reopening the nation's borders before then. 

Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mataafa said that the Government was aiming to reach its target rate of vaccinations - a precondition for reopening the country’s borders to tourists - by year’s end.
