Visitors to Samoa have been given another option to choose from in terms of accommodation.

The Tua Ma’auga Motel Accommodation was officially opened yesterday at Pata, Falelatai.

The cost of the project is more than one million tala.

Minister of Tourism, Sala Fata Pinati, congratulated the family for the project.

“We congratulate your family for building this great accommodation on this side of the country,” Sala said.

“These are the positive progressive developments for our people especially the whole of Samoa."

“For those who are going to work here, you need to be honest to yourself then all work will be carried out smoothly."

“The message behind all of these is to work together for the good of Samoa.”

Member of the Council of Deputies, Tuimaleali’ifano Sualauvi II had the honour of cutting the ribbon before the guests visited the accommodation.

Owner of the Accommodation; Rev. Fa’ae’e Tologata of Australia thanked God for making it all possible.

“It all started when I returned to Samoa after cyclone Evan and I spotted this area,” he said.

“Then I told to myself, I want to reclaim the area, and if I reclaimed the area, I’ll spend a lot of money on it, so I need something in return."

“That’s when I decided to start this project, heaps of money was spent on this project and we’re still trying to finish off some of the few works here."

“If everything is completed then the cost will climb up a little bit higher.”

He also acknowledged the village of Pata Falelatai and the Sa Tologata family for all the hard work and support in so many ways.

Rev. Tologata said that even though there were challenges at most of the times but God was still in control.

The Accommodation is named after the mother of Rev. Tologata and his family at Pata Falelatai.
