Satuimalufilufi Methodist celebrates
The Methodist Church at Satuimalufilufi celebrated the opening of their pastor’s house yesterday.
The $182,000 project took four months to complete.
The service was well attended by the church leaders from overseas and Samoa, including Members of Parliament, Mulipola Leiataua Laki and Afamasaga Rico Tupa’i.
The opening service was led by Reverend Fosi Tumatavai.
“This is the result of your hard work…good things comes from those who wait and have faith in the Lord,” he said. “This is not easy, there were challenges during the whole process, but because you trust in the Lord, that’s why everything went pretty well.”
Rev. Iakopo Falefitu of the Satuimalufilufi Methodist Church said the congregation consists of nine families. Maupenei Fosi Tumatavai cut the ribbon.
