More features on ANZ Pacific App announced
PR - ANZ yesterday announced it has added new features to its ANZ Pacific App to make banking on the go easier and more secure for its Samoa, Tonga and Pacific customers.
The new features include:
• Fingerprint ID (Android) and TouchID (iOS) log in
• Local bank and international transfers
• Now available to Business Internet Banking customers
• Schedule future dated and recurring payments
• Access existing templates created from internet banking
ANZ Regional Executive for Pacific, Tessa Price, said: “Just six months ago we were the first bank to introduce a Pacific-wide mobile banking app. Since then, more than 16,000 people across the Pacific, including Samoa, have been actively using our ANZ Pacific App.
“In that time, we’ve seen a 120% increase in the value of transfers made using the ANZ Pacific App. We know this figure will continue to grow as smartphone usage increases across the region and more of our customers choose digital banking.”
ANZ Regional Country Manager, Samoa and Tonga, Bernie Poort, said: “With more access to high speed internet, Internet Banking and our Pacific App are becoming the preferred way for many of our customers to do their banking.
“We expect this trend to continue in 2019 and beyond, so we’re investing in digital banking to help our customers bank on the go.”
The new ANZ Pacific App is available in Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu. Customers can download the ANZ Pacific App from the App Store or Google Play.
