The short story promotion, was a part of the celebration of Book Day event which ended of 11th March.

Florence Amilale of Matautu was was announced as the winner on 16th March for the joint EnTs Cafe, Samoa Observer and

Eveni Carruthers Book Day Event.

She commented about her favorite book which was "To kill a mockingbird, by Harper Lee."

“We are excited to be celebrating Book Day together with EnTs Cafe and Samoa Observer, as part of our

continued effort to support reading and education in our local community." We will continue to support

these events in the future”, says Selina Galuvao, Eveni Carruthers Retail Manager.

The winner's prizes included $50 Tala Gift Voucher from EnTs Cafe, Fugalei, a Samoa

Observer Short Story book set(Our Heritage, the Ocean) an Eveni Stationery pack (Crayola colour pencils,

Notebook and Bic pencil set) and Koko Pacific Sarong.
