Two lovebirds will remember yesterday for a very special reason.

Sefulu and Kitiona exchanged vows and rings at the Tui Atua Tamasese Efi Convention Center yesterday, taking a new step in their relationship.

Families and friends of the bride and the groom witnessed the intimate ceremony.

Stake President Mulipola Taupaū Leiataua conducted the service and reminded them that from here on, they are life partners.

“This is a big step of your life, there is no more I or me, there will be us and we,” he said.

“Always be honest and loyal to each other.”

“As you unite today in love and in friendship, I wish you happiness that reaches every corner of your heart. Because two hearts will beat as one!”

The young couple have been friends since Primary school.

Sefulu is the eldest of Taumateina Vaga’i and Solofa Salesulu’s seven children.

She is 26 and she hails from the villages of Apolima Uta and Lefagaoali’i Savai’i.

She works as a Senior Policy Analyst for the Ministry of Public Enterprises. Her maid of honour was Nina Ash from Moamoa.

The groom Kitiona is the second of So’ona’alofa and Eneliko Teofilo’s six children. He is a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. He hails from the village of Poutasi Faleali’i.

His best man was his best friend Murphy Poseta Joseph Paulo.
