The Manusina 7s management team has selected their training squad after the National 7s trials run over a two-week period at the Apia Park Stadium.

A total of 18 players made the cut following the trial games from January 14–15 and 21–22 with speedster and Taema captain Lomi Mulipola as well as Tilafaiga’s Saelua Seleti headlining the training squad.

Players Opeta Toala (Nafanua), Jasmine Tiatia (Taema) and Elisapeta Leti (Tilafaiga) were also selected, thanks to their impressive defense and attack during the trial games.

The Tilafaiga team contributed the most number of players with nine, followed by Taema (five) and Nafanua (four). Players that did not make the squad will join the Lakapi Samoa rugby academy.
