Police call for help over missing man

The Ministry of Police, Prisons and Corrections has appealed to the public to help locate a 56-year-old man of Samusu Aleipata.

Taoipu Vaigafa has been missing for more than a week and suffers from cognitive disorders, says the Police.

According to Police reports, Mr. Vaigafa has been missing from his home in Samusu Aleipata since last Tuesday 8 December.

“When he failed to return home his family and relatives have been trying to locate him but all attempts made have so far been negative,” a Police statement reads. 

“Taoipu is a person who has a mental condition [or] disability and his family is anxious to find him.”

The Police have urged the public to contact the telephone number 22222 if they have any information that could help them locate him.
