Business Link Pacific has launched a new online tool to assist small to medium-sized enterprises in Samoa to find business finance products.

The B.L.P. is a private sector development programme funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, a New Zealand aid programme initiative honouring New Zealand’s commitment to supporting the economic growth of Pacific Island countries.

The programme has launched the new finance finder tool in Samoa and is working in partnership with the New Zealand High Commission in Samoa to find sustainable solutions to support the growth of the private sector.

According to a B.L.P. media release, the new finance finder tool is available online for small to medium-sized businesses in Samoa from this week, and would enable businesses to search for loan options across a range of different providers, compare terms and interest rates, and save products to view later.

The Samoa-based B.L.P. Business Manager, John Lemoa, says that businesses will be able to look at finance options online as well as applying through B.L.P. for help with their applications.

The new finance finder tool is being launched in Samoa first and will be rolled out across the Pacific Islands next year.

The B.L.P. hopes this new tool will allow more S.M.E. to access financial services by offering updated information provided directly by partnering banks.
