It’s hypocritical

Re: Government and Church Ministers tax law threat

Well done, Minister Tialavea! Not giving into the bullying and the threats is the mark of a courageous minister.

A weak-minded minister would be thinking about the next election and be too afraid to rock the boat.

This is the most powerful church in the land who have powerful members in the media, business and politics, including the Head of State and the Council of Deputies.

It is the height of hypocrisy for the E.F.K.S. churches in NZ to be paying taxes to the New Zealand government but take a completely opposite view backed by their interpretation of the Bible when it comes to paying taxes in Samoa (which needs it more than NZ).

Where is Rev. Vavatau and his mates talking about the bible to the NZ Inland Revenue Department? All those NZ E.F.K.S. churches are under the same doctrines of beliefs as the Samoan E.F.K.S. churches. It is just hypocrisy.
