Fun, fun and more fun.

That was the name of the game yesterday at the Farmer Joe compound at Vaitele where Devondale joined forces with Farmer Joe to host their annual White Sunday Funday.

Speaking on behalf of the companies, Carol Pereira said the purpose of the event was to promote the spirit of White Sunday.

“This is Farmer Joe and Devondale’s contribution to the celebration of White Sunday,” she said.

“General Manager of Farmer Joe, AJ and Krissy Cowley, initiated this event for all the children of Samoa to come and have fun here before church.”

“We also have sponsors such as Eveni, B.S.L, Island Rock, S.S.A.B, Georgie’s Pizza, Italiano, Apollo Cinema, Uncle Johnny, Bluesky, Krissy, and Burger Bills who came on board and help out with prizes during the event,” she added.

The event is for the children to make new friends.

“It was a good day and we saw a lot of children making new friends as well as parents,” she said.

“There was loud music, Zumba session, candy scramble and so many fun activities for the children.”

“There were jumping castles as well as pool sessions and that is what is different this year.”

“In the past years there weren’t that many jumping castles for the children to play, however, this year AJ and Krissy actually bought these jumping castles for the children to play in.”

“They did that for the children to make sure they take advantage of all the fun activities happening and it was an excellent turn out by the children as well as their parents.”

“We held draws as well where a customer can purchase four Devondale from any Farmer Joe outlet and they get the chance to win some special prizes from some of the sponsors.”

“More than 70 winners won different prizes from sponsors whether it was pizzas from Italiano or Georgie’s or a weekend at the Taumeasina Island Resort and many more.”

She added the activities were for the kids to know that they’re cared for and loved before they wear their white dresses and suits.
