“I'm honored that our hard work and perseverance were recognized on this exclusive list,” Matthew Blair said: “Oscar and I worked this case for many years after it had been rejected by three other law firms. We put our heart and sweat in and got a really great result for a very deserving client. We couldn't be happier with the result we got for our client.” Ramirez added, “The clients that we represent come to us because they have been seriously wronged and it needs to be made right, and there is no one else that is going to do it but us.”

Top Verdict’s goal is to recognize attorneys and law firms on factual achievements, as opposed to publications who select attorneys based on opinion. They source their content through court records, electronic submissions by attorneys, and major legal publications. Because of the fact-based nature of the lists, very few firms make a Top Verdict list.

About the Case

The case arose from a July 12, 2015 T-bone vehicle collision in Los Angeles. The Defendant was making a left-hand turn at an intersection with no traffic controls and collided with Plaintiff’s vehicle as it was traveling straight through the intersection. Plaintiff contended that Defendant was making an unsafe left-turn. Defendant contended that Plaintiff was speeding. The Plaintiff suffered soft tissue orthopedic injuries to her cervical spine and a possible concussion. The case was heavily litigated for nearly three years before going to trial in Long Beach, California. The case was settled on the second day of trial.
