Suzuki jeep hits Police vehicle

The quiet of a Sunday afternoon was shattered yesterday by a loud bang at the Vaitele-Uta Four Corners.

Vehicles involved included a black pick up, Pol.07 driven by Assistant Police Commissioner, Afamasaga Michael Soonalole. The other vehicle was a Suzuki jeep driven by a young girl.

A bystander said the young girl was travelling at high speed and failed to give way at the intersection. Both drivers were on their way home after church. No one was injured.
