Two men have pleaded guilty to stealing a Holden Colorado vehicle from the home of a Afiamalu family who are overseas.

Misiona Tauiloto Tuamalii and Ricky Alesana entered their guilty plea to stealing the vehicle valued at $40,000 in July this year.

Their co-defendant, Warren Te'o, pleaded guilty to accepting the stolen vehicle and giving false information to the Police.

He denied being with Tuamalii and Alesana in July this year when they entered the family compound and stole the vehicle.

Justice Mata Keli Tuatagaloa presided. The men were not represented by a lawyer.

According to a summary of facts, the complaint was filed by former District Court Judge, Lefau Harry Schuster.

Lefau confirmed that he was looking after the home that belonged to a relative who is outside of the country.

Justice Tuatagaloa adjourned the matter for sentencing on 19 October and scheduled 31 May 2021 for hearing for the not guilty charges.

The men are remanded on bail until then.
