Prime Minister Tuilaepa Dr. Sailele Malielegaoi has instructed the Police to contact the U.S. government over a “terrorist” that lives in America.

He was referring to Saute Sapolu, who posted the video on Facebook this week swearing at the Prime Minister, and making threats on his life as well as criticize how he ran the Government.

During his weekly program with the media, Tuilaepa said an official complaint has been made with the Police instructed to inform the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on the matter.

“This one of the terrorist that resides in America and these are the type of people that President (Donald) Trump is trying to get rid of from his country.

“The police were told to translate the clip and lodged a complaint with the CIA, to determine whether these are some of those people who should have been returned to their home country,” the Prime Minister said.

The CIA is a civilian foreign intelligence service of the federal government of the United States, tasked with gathering, processing, and analysing national security information from around the world, primarily through the use of human intelligence.

The Prime Minister said that if and when Saute does return to Samoa he will be dealt with accordingly.

This week Saute made a verbal threat against Prime Minister in a video that immediately went viral. It was condemned by many Samoans, who defended the Prime Minister and went on to call verbally abuse him.

Saute’s video follows the arrest of King Faipopo, who has been charged with making false statements against the Prime Minister.
