Social what? Public violate S.O.E. orders

This is a big issue. Even though there is no confirmed case of the Coronavirus in Samoa but people should maintain social distancing at all times. I have seen lots of people congregate in one place such as outside of money transfer offices and they weren't standing 1 meter away from each other so people should think deeply about this. The only time I saw social distancing in that area is when we were allowed to go inside because they would only allow three people inside at a time. So they were promoting social distancing inside but completely ignoring the situation outside.

There is still no Coronavirus case in Samoa but I still think people should maintain social distancing. The Government is protecting us and they advise us to keep our distance from each other because diseases can spread easily and quickly if you are close to other people. Everyone should be aware of the social distancing rule now. In terms of people congregating in public places to receive money from money transfers, I would usually pick it up from the branches that are not in the town area to avoid getting stuck in line and to make sure I keep my distance with people.

Social distancing should be enforced. I am a bus driver and they told us to limit the passengers to 20 people but people in town were congregating in certain areas so it should really be enforced. I have seen some buses earlier coming with more than 20 passengers on the bus so there is no social distancing at all.

Mailei Te'o, 40, Vaie'e

What the Government is doing for us is really important. Even if there is no Coronavirus case here but it is best to prepare because we would never know if the disease will get here or not. We should really maintain social distancing. It is best to stay home so that your family will be safe and protected because I fear for the safety of the kids because children are the future of the village, family and churches and especially our country.

Marie Gamble, 39, Lotopu'e

Social distancing should be enforced because diseases can spread really quickly in public places. People should stay 1.5 meters away from each other especially in public places even though there is still no confirmed case of the Coronavirus in our country.

Kalala Koko, 52, Aleipata

My advise for our country is that we shouldn't roam around too much. It is best to stay safe at home unless you need to get something from town. I am only here to receive money from family overseas and when I visited the money transfer place there was quite a lot of people outside but the people working there sorted things out greatly by letting only 2 people in at a time. Even if there is no Coronavirus disease here but we should still maintain social distancing at all times. I know some people don't follow orders that is from the Government but we should all work together as a country.
