The Police have asked for public assistance to locate a missing 44-year-old man, Edward Junior Nielson.

He was last seen by his family two weeks ago on 17 March 2020, leaving his home wearing a black yellow striped T-shirt and black knee long pants at about 6 p.m.

The man is from the village of Moata’a. The Samoa Police Services uploaded his picture and information on social media on Thursday afternoon.

“If you have any information that might lead to his where about, please contact the nearest police station or call 22222,” the post reads.

Mr. Nielson seems to have gone missing within a few days after a 59-year-old from Patamea was reported missing by the Police.

Isaako Mulitalo, also known as Mulitalo Isaako Iakopo, was missing for a whole month before the Police asked for the public’s help to find him.

Almost two months ago, Mr. Mulitalo was apparently on his way to work his family plantation, the Samoa Police Service said. He had not returned since.

Back in 11 February 2020, his family reached out over Facebook to look for him, the day after he left the family home.

His relatives have been searching for him and Facebook posts asking for help have been shared over 150 times.
