Amusement park owner seeks lower rates
The Samoa amusement Fiafia Park has reached out to Vodafone Samoa asking if they could lower their rates on phone calls, text messages and data bundles.
Park owner and founder Tupa'i Bruno posted on their facebook account announcing that they have seeking assistance from the CEO of Vodafone Samoa in regards to their service rates.
"I am calling upon the C.E.O. of Vodafone Samoa, a very considerate person with a good heart that I know personally, Mr Satish Sharma to make every previous BlueSky and now Vodafone customer feel that they really care for them in this time of worldwide despair," reads the Facebook post.
Tupa'i is of the view that any reduction in rates will help the people of Samoa greatly.
"It would help the people of Samoa tremendously by greatly reducing the rates for phone calls, texts and data. It would show the entire country that the new Vodafone cares and understands this horrible situation at hand and would without doubt, bring a lot of new customers online with Vodafone too," he added.
The Bluesky Samoa is now taken over by the Vodafone Samoa.
Vodafone Samoa, in response to email queries from the Samoa Observer, said they are encouraging local businesses and customers to talk to them more for their telecom needs.
The Fiafia Amusement park is now closed until further notice due to the state of emergency (S.O.E.) which was declared last Friday.
