No Idea win National Sevens

No Idea won the Bluesky National Women's Sevens Series on title by taking their second of three leg titles on Saturday at Vaimauga College.

After Tepatasi Aleipata won the first leg a couple of weeks ago, before No Idea's second leg win, the Series finale was set up to provide an overall title decider between the competitions two most consistent teams.

No Idea topped Pool A with wins over Salelologa and Nafanua Hawks to set up a semifinal against Pool B winners Aiga Ile Tai, who triumphed over Puataunofo Girls and Sagaga College.

Apia Maroons defeated Aana Blues and Vaimauga College to finish first in Pool C, while Pool D was taken out by Tepatasi Aleipata who scored wins over Marist Angels and Paul VI College.

In the semifinals, No Idea beat Aiga Ile Tai 19-14 and Tepatasi Aleipata had a 7-0 win over Apia Maroons.

That put them both in the final, where No Idea triumphed 17-12.
