For New Zealand couple, Iain and Kathryn Scott, they say customer service has been exceptional since they arrived in Samoa.

They first visited the country in 2018 but things are different this time around, especially when looking for a destination where they can relax and wind down.

And it is the customer service of the locals that is also making a big difference to their second-time-around adventure to the islands.

Mrs Scott told Samoa Observer customer service was nothing short of fantastic in their second visit.

“The customer service was just fantastic, our stay here has been relaxing, this is our second time in Samoa and a lot has changed,” she said. “When we first came in 2018, we went around the island. And it’s been three days since we got here, and so far it has been such an amazing time. The difference from 2018 is that the flea market is busier and there are so many cars around.”

The couple will be in Samoa for 10 days and are looking forward to relaxing and reading some books that they brought along.

Samoa is a perfect holiday destination, added Mrs Scott.

“We love Samoa, it’s very relaxing and it’s the perfect place for a holiday or a vacation,” she said.

With the coronavirus threat hanging over their New Zealand home, the couple said they are not really worried about the global health epidemic.

However, they are happy with the progress Samoa is making through the screening of all incoming passengers.

“We got here and we were asked if we had a medical clearance, and we gave it to them. We’re really happy with the progress Samoa is making to raise awareness for coronavirus,” she added.
