Club rugby around Samoa continued over the weekend with teams playing in competitions under the country's various sub-unions.

Solosolo held onto the Anoama’a Rugby Union Senior A Shield with their fourth win in a row, while Marist St Joseph’s triumphed in the first week of the Vailima Apia West Rugby 10s tournament at RAS Field in Lepea.

Two rounds remain in the tournament, with the winner taking home $3000 tala in prize money.
