Australian couple form strong first impression

While Australian couple, Steve and Pam Adamson, arrived in Samoa only yesterday they say their first impressions of the country could not be better.

"Our stay so far has been lovely. Taumeasina Island Resort is a great place; it is so beautiful. What we have seen; what we've had, like food and everything has been so wonderful," Mrs. Adamson said.

"We decided to travel to Samoa as it is a place that we haven't been to before. We have been to a number of Pacific Islands so we thought Samoa is somewhere we haven't been, so we are here for a week just to relax."

"We plan to do a day tour around the island and have someone take us around to see all the places. We will relax and enjoy the weather, we know its rainy season but it seems to be OK, it's not raining all the time."

The couple are also looking forward to experiencing traditional Samoan culture and food.

"Its good to see a bit of the culture. Samoa is such a beautiful country and everyone is so friendly. It is also a very accommodating place. Our stay here has been so lovely," she said.

They plan to stay for a week.
