CAPE TOWN, South Africa (AP) — South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada is out of the home one-day international series against Australia and will also miss the limited-overs tour to India next month with a groin strain.

Rabada was injured in a Twenty20 series against the Aussies, which ended this week, Cricket South Africa said on Friday.

Rabada is out for approximately four weeks.

The three-game ODI series against Australia starts on Saturday. His absence will also be a big blow for South Africa in the three ODIs in India.

Rabada, ranked in the top five bowlers in the world in tests and ODIs, faces a race to be fully fit for the Indian Premier League, which starts at the end of March.

He'd only just returned to action after having been banned for the final test against England last month for accumulating too many disciplinary points. He was then rested for the ODI and T20 series against England.
