DUBLIN (AP) — Ireland lost experienced prop Cian Healy for the remainder of the Six Nations on Tuesday.

Healy limped off with a hip injury in the first half of the 24-12 loss to England on Sunday and will miss Ireland's final two games, at home to Italy and away to Grand Slam-chasing France in what could be the round five match that decides the title.

Ireland, which did not give a time frame for Healy's expected absence, beat Scotland and Wales in the first two rounds.

He will miss out on achieving 100 caps in this Six Nations. On 98 caps, the first-choice loosehead would have expected to reach the milestone by playing Ireland's remaining matches in the tournament.
