Malifa traffic light wrecked in crash

Police were called to an early Sunday morning crash that knocked down a newly-installed traffic light at the four-corner intersection at Malifa.

No vehicle was seen at the site of the crash.

At around 10am, electricians had already started to work on the wrecked traffic light to ensure its safety.

The accident comes less than two months after a new bridge and traffic lights were installed and commissioned at Malifa.

Last month a traffic light was run over by an alleged drunk driver in front of the AA rental company at Lepea.
