“To be the best of who we are” was the theme for this year’s fashion show put on by the Relief Society at Mulifanua’s 2nd Ward on Thursday.

Held in their chapel at Mulifanua, the president, Toleafoa Toiata Lagavale said this was the first time an event like this had been held.

“We always have events to wrap up our work throughout the year but this is the first time we decided to hold a fashion show,” she said.

“Our theme highlights the important role of a mother from a young age up until she gets married.

“This also shows our daughters the lives that they should be living as they grow up.

“And, it showcases the many talents that those in our Relief Society have.”

The event was divided into eight different categories.

It included every day wear, school uniforms, sports outfits, puletasi, outing wear, creative wear, church wear and wedding dresses.

The event was organised by Toleafoa, the First Counsellor, Eseta Zinck, Second Counsellor, Sesilia Jahnke and Secretary, Karen Esera.
