The Football Federation Samoa (F.F.S.) has reportedly appointed a new Chief Executive Officer.

Sources told the Samoa Observer that, Seve Dr. Folototo Seve, has secured the role and will resume the responsibilities previously carried out by former C.E.O., Faumuina Michael Kapisi.

Contacted for a comment, Seve said he was not in a position to confirm nor deny the reports.

"I can't say yes or no to that," he said. "I would prefer that you confirm from the Chair of the Board."

Attempts to get a confirmation from the President of Football Federation Samoa, Papali’i Leslie Petaia, were unsuccessful.

Seve has a PhD in Financial Accounting and Master of Commerce from the Australian National University. He started his academic life at Fagafau and Samata Primary School then left for New Zealand for college. He returned to Samoa to attend the National University of Samoa, eventually graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts.

Seve served in the Ministry of Revenue for one year, after he graduated. He then moved on to Betham and Co. Public Accountants (now, BDO Samoa) and Law Firm for four years.

In the year 2004, he started working at N.U.S. in the Finance office. He was then shifted to teach at the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship in the year 2014.

In 2016, Seve became the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, Seve Folototo Seve, where he has been working until now. He is married to Liliu Seve and they have three children.
