The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour (M.C.I.L.) will remain under the leadership of Pulotu Lyndon Chu Ling as its Chief Executive Officer for the next three years.

It follows Cabinet’s decision to endorse his reappointment, announced by the Press Secretariat today.

Pulotu has been the C.E.O. of M.C.I.L. since 2016, when he took over from the late Peseta Margaret Malua.

But his service to the Ministry dates back to 2006 where he was the Assistant Chief Executive Officer (A.C.E.O.) for the Industry Development and Investment Promotion Division (I.D.I.P).

Pulotu is a former student of Samoa College.

The statement from Cabinet said he holds a Bachelor of Art majoring in Economics and Management from the University of South Pacific, and a Masters in Development Studies from the National University of Samoa.
