Police search for missing 14-year-old

The Ministry of Police is appealing to members of the public to locate a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen on Wednesday last week. 

Luka Kalifa, is from Aleisa, and is a year 9 student at the Maluafou College.

She was last seen at the Fugalei market. 

“She was last seen wearing a green T-shirt and a blue ie-lavalava on the 30th of October 2019, at Farmer Joe Supermarket (Fugalei),” says the Police in a public notice.

Police urged members of the public to contact the nearest Police station or call 22222 if they have any information that might lead to her whereabouts. 

The 14-year-old is one of seven adults and children that were reported missing by Police this year. 

All of them have been located except for a 35-year-old male of Solosolo name Semi Leau. 

Mr. Leau went missing in July this year and was last seen at the Ocean Club at Maninoa Siumu. 

One of them that has still not been found is Semi Leau of Solosolo that went missing in July. 

Police are still looking for him. 

Others that went missing was a 26-year-old mother and a 3-year-old from Pesega. 

Police earlier this year also reported a missing 8 year old, a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old. 

The missing children and the mother from Pesega were located within a week.
