A woman who allegedly assaulted another woman in front of children outside Vaivase Primary School is facing an attempted murder charge in relation to the incident.

Lanuola Brown is charged with attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm and being armed with dangerous weapon with another co-defendant that did not appear in the Supreme Court.

Represented by her lawyer, Alex Su’a, Ms. Brown entered a not guilty plea to the charges.

The matter was then referred to call over for a hearing date.

Ms. Brown initially appeared before the District Court where her matter was transferred to the Supreme Court due to the seriousness of the charges against her.

The charges against her stemmed from an alleged assault on a 41-year-old woman name Lesina Fidow at the Vaivase Primary School.

The complainant alleged she was dragged from her car and beaten by four women.

The alleged victim claimed she was later admitted at the hospital for several days following the alleged assault.
