Local Samoan brewer Vailima Samoa Breweries has donated a set of uniforms to the Marist netball team.

Tanuvasa Joanne Iosefo, who spoke on behalf of the team, said that their new uniforms were sponsored by Vailima Samoa Breweries and comes three years after their last uniform set was issued.

He also acknowledged the assistance of Sub Lime – who took it on themselves to print the uniforms – at such a short notice.

The Marist netball team was established in 2008, which is the same year that saw them winning the men's tournament. The team comprises over 15 players as well as coaches and the management.

The total cost of the new netball uniform set was close to $2000.
