Books selling fast just like cloths and food everyday

The two biggest Stationary companies have witnessed the sales of their books with their customers, also the top books that people buy.

Samoa Observer interview the Education manger section of Samoa Stationery and Books, 28 year-old Lana Devo she said the most outcome book of purchase is a local author Lani Wendt Young ‘Telesa’ and it has been the most demand.

With the many local authors stories in Samoa, the Telesa series is the outstanding book out all, because many people have been buying it.

“We have the ulafala series which we have five series, “she said.

Mrs. Devo also added within Samoa Stationery and Book they have books for primary schools, College, University also has novels for adults. 

“Most of the books that people buy are the adult’s novels, and teenage also the schools buy lots of activities books and reading,” said

Lana Devo told Samoa Observer she said  the most selling out books is the adults novels and Samoan Books that most of the people buys from us.

According to Tofilau Fiti Leunag Wai CEO of SSAB in an email reply on weekly basis they make sure the reading books are sold at much discounted,  but also they have programmes that include books. 

Business System Limited Customer  manager  Leeroy Feaunati  told Samoa Observer, he said the books within the company comes from Australia and also the books  and they provide for primary top university level.

“We brought in activities books most like for Math’s, English and science in related to what the Ministry of Education Sport and culture learning outcome,” he added.

He also added that they sell Math’s, English and science work or activity books for the students and also some Samoa and English language reading books.

“For the time being we are mainly focus on the school's activity books based on their learning outcome for the student,” he said.

Mr. Feaunati told Samoa Observer every day there are many different of customers come in our company and some are schools, customers who are looking for novels and other books.

“As what we have seen that most of our customers they are buying mostly the activities and big books for the preschool and primary level,” she added.

But for general customer they just buy fiction or non-fiction books; also we do have other books such as cooking books.
