Wade Johnson, 17, Magiagi

I'd like to see more local girls in the pageant. Now there are lot of overseas-based girls who are competing.  I am voting for contestant number 5 Miss Samoa Victoria ( Taiafau Zaharya Leaousumai ) and I am going to watch with my family on T.V.

Seifaga Seneuefa, 39, Falealili

I am voting for contestant number #3 Miss House of Gold, because she is the only local girl who is taking part. And for me I prefer having more local girls to compete for the Miss Samoa Pageant because they live here in Samoa and they know the traditional way of Samoa. I will watch the Miss Samoa pageant on the internet, or T.V.

Larry Kalolo, 47, Lalovaea

With this year's Miss Samoa Pageant, we have one local girl competing with the rest [Samoans] who live overseas. We should have more contestants who are locally based because there will be more people supporting them. I am voting for Contestant number #3 Miss House of Gold.

Rachael Moors, 16, Vaitele

I am voting for Miss Samoa New Zealand, contestant number 2, Fonofafo Mcfarland  Seumanu, because I believe that she has the talent and she can help the people of Samoa. I am going to watch the pageant. I'd like to see more local girls step up for the pageant.

Leutujolenina  Osa, 23, Samatau

I am voting for the contestant number #6 Miss Aurilei Couture, Susan Mary Pale. And, for me, I prefer to have both locally and overseas Samoa Girls because some girls Samoa from overseas can give their experience to help out the country, and there are some things those local girls have to find that overseas girls have. I am going to watch the pageant on T.V.

 Elena Tavita, 23, Samatau

I am voting for Miss Aurilei, contest number #6, Susan Mary Pale. I am hoping that she wins the pageant. I am going to watch the competition on T.V. at my house. To me it does not matter if we have a local girl in the pageant, because the contestants from overseas are also Samoans.
