The Manu Samoa have selected the 31 players that will represent the country at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Loose forward Piula Fa'asalele has been selected in spite of a wrist injury that ended his Pacific Nations Cup game early.

Tusiata Pisi was excellent off the bench against the New Zealand Heartland XV in his return to the side, and he is heading to his third World Cup.

Debutants against the Heartland XV Michael Alaalatoa and Scott Malolua will be looking to earn their first test caps at the tournament, if not against Australia next Saturday in Sydney.

After that match on the 7th, the Manu will head to Japan ahead of their World Cup opener against Russia on September 24th.
