The national badminton and touch rugby teams received a $10,000 boost on Friday thanks to Computer Services Limited (.C.S.L.).

The presentation of the donation held at C.S.L’s headquarters in Apia was for two C.S.L. employees, Hilton So’o, badminton, and Tauiliili Lerissa Fong, touch rugby, who are representing Samoa in the Pacific Games.

The sports received $5,000 each.

Tauili'ili said C.S.L. is excited to be part of the Games.

Chief Executive Officer Tuipoloa Tony Saaga, management and staff of C.S.L. extended their best wishes for Samoa as it prepares to host the sporting event.

“We are honoured to have our company’s support as we prepare to play during the Pacific Games,” she said.

President of Samoa Badminton, Nynette Sass, and Mailata Michael Wulf, President of Samoa Touch Rugby Incorporated, acknowledged C.S.L. for the monetary assistance.

Both the sporting teams shared that the funds will be used in their respective teams’ preparations.

“We are deeply grateful for the gesture because this is recognition of the hard work put in by the athlete and surely this makes the athletes feel appreciated so for us we are really very excited with our athletes,” said the president of Samoa Badminton.

Mailata said their team is proud of the accomplishment by Tauiliili in terms of her contributions to touch rugby.

C.S.L. has been providing I.C.T. Services, solutions and internet connectivity for over 40 years and continues to support a safe and secure I.C.T. environment for its users and community at large.
