LONDON (AP) — Saracens added the English league crown to its European Cup title captured last month by coming from behind to beat Exeter 37-34 in a gripping Premiership final at Twickenham on Saturday.

Trailing 27-16 at the hour mark on a hot day at the home of English rugby, Saracens scored converted tries through wingers Liam Williams and Sean Maitland in an eight-minute span to take the lead.

England hooker Jamie George added another try — his second of the match and Saracens' fifth — with three minutes remaining to finally end Exeter's hopes.

Saracens has been English champion four times in the last five years. Exeter is the only other team to win the domestic title since 2015, beating Wasps in 2017.

Saracens beat Leinster in the European Champions Cup final three weeks ago and has completed the English-European double again, like in 2016.

There were 10 tries in total, five for each team. It is the most points scored in a Premiership final.
