A witch hunt

Re: Conflicts of interest

So if the Chinese were awarded the contract people would be waving their sapelus in the air outraged, calling for blood.

It wouldn’t matter who it was awarded to as people will always go out of their way to find a flaw, fault, a problem.

Human nature I suppose.

Also didn’t Cabinet approve it? Shouldn’t you be asking them why?

I do wonder how many construction companies are in Samoa and how many of them made a bid?

And did the panel know them all by first name and which construction company was more value for money?

Can conflict of interest in Samoa be avoided, prevented given how small Samoa is?

To also suggest Peseta’s shares were not disclosed are already public knowledge and has made no attempt to hide or mislead the public by concealing that information.

This witch hunt is so dramatic when anyone who’s dealing with govt. money knows its more trouble than what its worth.
