Visit Samoa to believe it, says Japanese tourist

A tourist from Tokyo, Japan, visited Samoa to see for himself if what he saw on the internet about Samoa was true.

K.P said he could only imagine how Samoa would be like after just seeing one or two photos online.

But the internet didn't do justice to what he has seen so far in Samoa.

The moment he arrived, he realised that Samoa is more than what he expected and it's a place of dreams and relaxation.

K.P spent four days at the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel and is proud he finally found the place to bring his wife and children to for good relaxation.

"I came beforehand to experience what Samoa is like because I have always been looking for a perfect place to bring my wife and children to and Samoa is one of the safest places I know," he said.

He drove around Upolu island when he discovered a sign leading to the To Sua Ocean Trench and was impressed with what he saw.

"I have never seen something like that and I just can't wait to bring my children over to Samoa and my beautiful wife," he said.

Compared to Japan, K.P said he does not feel scared in Samoa as people are always friendly everywhere.

He said people in the villages are well mannered, which really impressed him.

"One of the things I have learnt about Samoa is the way the villages are being secured and well managed and I tell you, it is very safe and well handled."

K.P yesterday returned to Tokyo with the intention and eagerness to bring his wife and children back some day soon.
