It is a tradition for every Catholic school and congregations to celebrate religious occasions all year long, to pay tribute in the spirit of thanksgiving.

St Mary's College at Vaimoso celebrated the importance of Easter through skits and songs, a whole day memorial of the sacrifice that Jesus made.

Teachers emphasized the fundamental role that Jesus made and how salvation was brought forth. St Mary's College out of all schools have the greatest respect for Mother Mary, whom according to the Catholic belief, was the mother of Jesus and the pathway to the world's salvation. Being the Mother of Jesus challenged her and shook her soul but it was the Almighty's will.

Sr Pele, the college's principal, explained that religious education is a big part of the school as it only educate girls.

"St Mary's College offers a holistic education," she added. Celebrating these religious occasions will help the girls improve their spiritual lives and academic state mentally, physically and emotionally preparing them for the outside world.
