The victim of an alleged domestic violence, who was shot in the face three months ago, is still undergoing medical treatment and is doing “fine” in New Zealand.

“Frysna (Rimoni) is doing fine and is recovering,” said a family member who did not wished to be named. 

Asked about the surgeries, the family member refused to elaborate but stated her cousin is alive and are thankful to God for that.

In January of this year,  Frysna, the Finance Manager for Pacific Forum Line, was medivacked for further surgery. 

The Samoa Observer contacted her sister, Seuamuli Sarona Ponofasio, who declined to comment. 

“I’m sorry I can’t say anything about this, but you will find out very soon. And thanks for your concern,” she said. 

Meanwhile, Peter Tulaga Eliesa of Vailoa is charged with attempted murder and the case is pending in the Supreme Court.
