Football Federation of Samoa (FFS) Chief Executive officer, Faumuina Michael Kapisi, recently resigned from his position.

The resignation comes just weeks after Papali’i Leslie Petaia was appointed as the new president of the FFS at their ordinary congress on February 23, replacing Reverend Laupama Solomona.

The FFS are now advertising for a new chief executive officer, with Autu Andy Ripley taking on the position of acting CEO until a person is recruited and hired by the organisation.

Attempts by the Samoa Observer to get comments from Papali’i Leslie Petaia, Reverend Laupama Solomona, Autu Andy Ripley and Faumuina Michael Kapisi have been unsuccessful at the time of going to press last night.
