How it works

Re: I admire the Minister

In a Westminster system, the buck stops with Cabinet.

Although the P.M. is the “Prime” Minister in a Cabinet of Ministers, the P.M. only has one vote. He is a “first among equals”.By the way Vai Autu are you related to the guy who got the contract or something?

The Minister clearly advised the P.M. that the selection process was flawed and it should have gone out to tender, and then said there may be a legal issue with cancelling the contract.

That isn’t “standing up to the PM” like so many of you delusional anti-PM people put it.

It is simply a matter-of-fact statement of the process.
