It’s time to move on

Dear Editor,

One part of this saga is now complete and Cabinet should do the right thing and reinstate the Director and her off-sider to their respective roles in the N.P.O.

The sad part of this case is that the Director should not have had to go through this farce of a trial to prove her innocence.

Cases like these amply demonstrate that the wheels of justice do work and we have to abide by the judge’s ruling.

It is frustrating though for us the ordinary folks on the street to read that the prosecutor might consider appealing the result of the case.

Perhaps it is time for these lawyers and so-called legal experts to close this case and move on.

I hope that the review of the N.P.O which the Prime Minister threatened to carry out, does not eventuate for it is probably a waste of valuable public resources, resources which can usefully be employed elsewhere.

One of the PM’s children has now found not to have mis-behaved at all.

Makes us trust the legal system, again.
