I had to laugh at Mr. Fang’s rationale when he said he doesn’t want to compete with local businesses.

Businesses are all established for profit. 

“Giving back to the people of Samoa” is an added bonus and should well be. 

To say that that he is not looking to compete with other businesses is a absolute farce: who is he kidding? 

Uso, your massive store will outsource the smaller Samoan trying to make a buck in the area. 

If you really wanted to give back to someone, you should’ve gone back to Tonga for the 10 years they invested in you and your businesses.
