Major attitude adjustment is needed

Dear Editor,

Re: Address hospital issue

Poor health services is not a big threat to tourism, as most tourists come here with low expectations of such things from previous travel experiences in Asia and the like.

Tourists getting ripped off by locals, charged way too much by taxi drivers, having their possessions stolen from their accommodation, or being bailed up on the road by group looking to extort kupe from them through intimidating actions is by far a bigger threat to the most important industry in Samoa.

A major attitude adjustment is needed by the whole population to take ownership of looking after the tourists that visit our paradise, so that they go home and tell everyone what a great place this is.

That is how we all can drive the biggest input to the Samoan economy.
