The Oceania Triathlon brought Gail Hedge from Australia to Samoa.

It is Gail’s first time on the island and she has been impressed with what Samoa has to offer.

She was also impressed by the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, which they are staying in.

“The hotel is very beautiful and the service is very good and the big difference is the friendliness of the stuff. The person who also picked us up at the airport was very friendly,” she told Dear Tourist.

People in Australia know how friendly the people are in Samoa and Gail believes it’s one reason people love to visit Samoa.

She was so happy to finally be here on the island not only for work purpose but to also experience Samoa as are here for four days.

Although she loved the island and its people, Gail explained that it was not easy getting here, which is why she might not be able to come back for vacation, but only when there is an important reason to be here.

“The difficulty for us is the flight, we have to come by Auckland and it was a long day to get here so it’s much easier for us to go to Fiji where there are more direct flights.

“The direct flight is overnight and for me that’s too tiring to travel.”

Gail is looking forward to be back on the island next year but still didn’t like the fact that the flight took too long to get here.
