Hailing from Manono-tai, Miss Fuatino’s Fashion, Tina Kerisiano Mose Kirisome is confident that her debut in the Bluesky Miss Samoa Pageant 2016 is the perfect opportunity to jump start her career as Samoa’s tourism ambassador.

“It’s always been my goal to work in the tourism industry,” said the 21 year old, who holds a Certificate in Tourism & Hospitality and a Diploma in Tourism from the National University of Samoa at Papaigalagala.

“As the mainstay of our economy, tourism needs all the attention it can get.

“Thankfully, the Blue Sky Miss Samoa Pageant 2016 has given me the chance to come out and pursue my career choice and be part of the tourism drive to attract more visitors to Samoa that should reflect in more revenues for our people,” she continued.

“The pageant,” added Tina, “is an opportunity of a lifetime that I believe will provide a lot of self-confidence and self-esteem not only for me, but for all of my sister contestants.”

The seventh in a family of five sisters and four brothers, Miss Fuatino Fashion says as a one of the eight contestants she is comforted to have her family’s loyal support.

“My family is very religious as reflected by many of my uncles serving as men of the cloth with the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa.

“So when I decided to accept the offer to represent Miss Fuatino Fashion, I was a bit sceptical about my family’s reaction.

“But to my surprise, my parents (Kerisiano Mose and Mrs. Soifua Ah Loe Mose) and the entire family gave their unconditional support and I am grateful.

“I will be forever thankful for this golden opportunity and whatever the outcome, I will walk away from the Pageant as a new woman who will be more determined and inspired to pursue a career as an operator and tourism ambassador for Samoa.”
