Tuilaepa insulting the fa’afafine community when it suits him

Dear Editor,

Re: “That’s what a fa’afafine would say,” Tuilaepa hits back

The P.M. shows again what a fool he is with his fa’afafine statement.

What on earth is he talking about?

What is it about faafafines that he thinks they would all say the same thing about a situation? Is this ignorant man suggesting that because a person is a faafafine that they do not think as individuals and they all say the same thing?

What is wrong with this man?

It is so pathetic to use a certain group of Samoan citizens as scapegoats to try to insult the Church ministers because they don’t want to pay taxes. I think they should pay their tax just like everyone else but this P.M. can’t even have a normal conversation when debating the issue with them.

Time to retire.

Also why would the faafafine have this person as their symbolic leader? He is not your fatherly friend.

It is apparent this is the case when he groups you together as an insult and uses you as a tool of ridicule to justify his controversial legislation against those who disagree with him.

The P.M. may as well have just come right out and called the church ministers a bunch of whiny, gay insult, you fill in the blank, because that is exactly what this P.M. meant when he contemptuously called the church ministers fa’afafine.
