Re: Minister denies expensive office

1. What was wrong with the old minister’s office?

2. Why hire a new administrator (Secretary is offensive) if the one at the Finance/Government office building was able to support you?

3. A $500.000 renovation? Can you have the contractor provide detail scope and cost breakdown for this price? (I’m in construction and this seem a money laundering operation) Even U.S government/European country would never have approved such cost for one official’s office, especially if it’s a renovation.

4. What happened to other government buildings that were built to house all of government officials in one location? The verbiage during the construction of those buildings was to make government more efficient and for easy communications. The so called claim that officials can walk across the hall for meetings would make the government more transparent and save time.

You made promises during your selection to help keep the cost of government spending down but we all see that you are NO different from any other politician. You could be worse. We were hoping for changes from the likes of you. Perhaps it was misplaced trust.
