Round two of the Apia West Rugby Union season was played on Saturday, highlighted by Marist retaining the Senior A Shield with a 27-18 win over Vaigaga.

It was Marist’s second win of the season after they took the Shield off Lepea last week, having returned to the Apia West competition from the Apia Rugby Union.

Lepea Senior A bounced back from last week’s loss to defeat Malie 21-11, while their Under-20 side took the shield off Malie with a 10-7 win.

Marist U20 won the day’s other game, with a 19-8 victory over Vaigaga U20.

Both Taufusi teams won by default over Vaitele.
